CLRA 2007 Annual General Meeting and Conference

SOT 2007
We are attending the Society of Toxicology conference in Charlotte, North Carolina from March 25 to 29th. The meeting will highlight advancements in science related to the numerous areas of toxicology and will continue a familiar structure with many and diverse Symposia, Workshops, Roundtable and Historical Highlight Sessions. 47th Annual Meeting of the Society of Toxicology 2008
Dr. Erik Martin will be attending the 47th Annual Meeting of the Society of Toxicology being held in Seattle, WA, USA. Topic of abstract: Preliminary estimation of total dietary intake of perchlorate and impacts on setting maximum contaminant levels for drinking water. Water Technologies Symposium 2008
Dr. Erik Martin, Ms. Liza Flemming will be attending the Water Technologies Symposium 2008 (WaterTech 2008) held April 16-18, 2008, at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
Dr. Martin will be a presenter at the conference. Astract titled "Perchlorate as an emerging contaminant – health implications, environmental forensics, and novel remediation techniques."
Water Tech is the premier water technology transfer event for environmental professionals. Water Tech provides delegates from a wide variety of industries the opportunity to focus on a relevant and growing area of interest in the environmental sector. We are attending the 9th Annual, In-situ and On-Site Bioremediation Symposium in Baltimore, Maryland from May 7-10, 2007. This conference integrates the latest in fundamental research of microbially-based degradation of contaminants with innovative engineering applications for site restoration and pollution prevention. Dioxin Conference
We attended the Dioxin Conference in Oslo, Norway from August 21 to 25th. Dr. Sandau co-authored three papers at the conference (see publicaitons) and co-chaired a session on "Biological, Chemical and Photolytical Transformations". Environmental Forensics: Methods and Applications
We attended the Environmental Forensics Seminar provided by National Ground Water Association, in Houston, TX, USA from November 8 to November 9, 2006. More information can be found at: www.ngwa.org
AEHS 2007 Conference
Trium will be attending the Association for Environmental Health and Sciences AEHS Annual West Coast Conference on Soils, Sediments, and Water conference in San Diego, California from March 19 to 22, 2007. For the past sixteen years, this annual conference has helped to bring the environmental science community closer together by providing a forum to facilitate the exchange of information of technological advances, new scientific achievements, and the effectiveness of standing environmental regulation programs. Fluoros Conference 2005
Our senior scientist attended the International Symposium on Fluorinated Alkyl Organics in the Environment. Attendance was to learn about the latest information on the fluorinated compounds now commonly found in the environment.
Environmental Forensics Workshop
We attended the Environmental Forensics: Chemical, Physical and Biological Methods Workshop in Durham, England from September 18 to 21st. Dr. Sandau co-authored and presented at the workshop.
